I was running Quicken 2016 Deluxe without any problems on Windows 10. I decided to upgrade to 2017. I started the installation and as one of the first steps it removed 2016 from the computer. It proceeded about half way across the install progress line and then failed. I chatted with 4 different people at Quicken to no avail. Now not only will 2017 not install but 2016 won't reinstall either. I've done the steps on 'fix problems that block programs from being installed or removed'; I've done the qcleinui quicken told me to do; I've tried everything I know to do and that Quicken told me to do. Here are the last few lines from the install log when I tried to reinstall 2016 if anyone can see anything that may be a red flag. I have got to get this program back! All my work depends on it. I had first tried from a purchased CD. Then Quicken provided a download copy of both 2016 and 2017 but none of the three installations will work.
I'm not showing all the lines that say that .. folder had been blocked by the 1 mask argument but it appears many times. I have also deleted the product key.

Quicken Deluxe 2017 For Mac
I think the R10 update or perhaps a subsequent one will be critical for the final Quicken/Intuit separation, allowing us to use Quicken for transaction download and product updates.
